Junior Sales Representative We want someone eager to launch a rewarding career in sales with a company that celebrates success and fosters a supportive environment. We are seeking driven individuals to join our dynamic team as Junior Sales Representatives specializing in supplemental insurance.

What You'll Do

Business-to-business cold calling, meeting with potential clients, and educating them on the benefits of supplemental insurance offerings.

Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing their insurance needs to grow your book of business.

Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals.

Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs.

Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients.

Implement marketing strategies, including cold calling and networking, to connect with potential clients while maintaining a portfolio of current clients.

Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances to present the best insurance policies that meet their needs.

Qualifications

Experience using accounting or sales‑related software is beneficial.

Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders.

Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, are required.

Must be a superb communicator able to analyze complex ideas; experience working in customer service is beneficial.

Candidates must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license.

Additional Position Qualifications

Already licensed in Health & Life general lines (or willing to obtain a Health & Life producer license; licensing reimbursement offered).

Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience. Candidates within 6 months of degree completion or with less than 4 years of experience who have relevant or specialized outside sales experience will be considered.
