
Director of Title I Services

Position Overview
Brienza’s Academic Advantage seeks a strategic and results-driven Associate Director of Title I Services to provide high-level leadership, oversight, and execution of Title I programs across multiple school sites. This role is responsible for ensuring program fidelity, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and strong cross-functional collaboration. The Associate Director will serve as a key liaison between organizational leadership, school administrators, and external stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Education or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of classroom teaching and/or instructional coaching experience
At least 3 years in an educational leadership role strongly preferred
School Building Leader (SBL) or School District Leader (SDL) certification preferred
Must not have been employed by the Department of Education within the past 13 months
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft platforms (Teams, Outlook, Excel)
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Executive Communication
Serve as a key advisor to the Chief Academic Officer (CAO), providing timely, strategic written updates and insights
Co-develop and align meeting agendas with organizational priorities in collaboration with the CAO
Lead and participate in executive-level debriefs to drive continuous program improvement
Cultivate and sustain strong, culturally responsive relationships with school leaders and principals across diverse communities
Team Leadership & Capacity Building
Lead weekly supervisory team meetings focused on performance monitoring, accountability, and program outcomes
Design and facilitate monthly in-person leadership meetings
Develop and deliver high-impact professional development aligned to current educational research, trends, and best practices
Program Oversight, Compliance & External Relations
Oversee and support all monitoring visits conducted by the Office of Non-Public and Charter Schools (ONPCS)
Represent the organization in recurring ONPCS engagements and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations
Ensure full compliance with all Title I requirements through proactive oversight and collaboration with internal leadership
Oversee and ensure fiscal and budgetary planning, compliance, and reporting in partnership with the Title I Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Monitor and support school-level allocation spending, ensuring adherence to timelines, funding guidelines, and Title I requirements
Data Strategy & Assessment Oversight
Direct the implementation and oversight of Title I assessment cycles in partnership with testing coordinators
Lead and support data analysis and formal presentations to inform strategic planning and instructional improvement
Program Implementation & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Provide strategic support for the Title I Summer Program in coordination with the Summer Program leadership
Partner closely with internal leadership teams to ensure seamless execution and continuous enhancement of Title I services
