Senior Revenue Accountant
Arlington, VA – In office, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities
Assist in the global monthly revenue close process, including analysis of accounts receivable and preparation of allowance for credit losses.
Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses related to monthly results.
Collaborate with Finance Planning and Analysis, Billings, Cash Collections, and Revenue Service teams to assist in the monthly close process and understand fluctuations from budget and forecast.
Research technical accounting issues.
Work with external auditors and facilitate review of the close process, account reconciliations and variance analyses.
Ensure timely monthly close and accurate monthly results.
Assist in aspects of the Enterprise Resource Planning system implementation and special cross‑functional projects.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college/university.
5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 3+ years accounting experience in a large international public company and/or Big 4 accounting firm.
Experience preparing or reviewing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
Process implementation experience.
Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
General knowledge of GAAP guidelines and ability to apply them to a variety of situations.
Familiarity with systems and optimizing use of systems to generate data for analysis.
Strong Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CPA candidate.
Experience with Oracle ERP.
Demonstrated working knowledge of ASC 606.
