The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will directly contribute to building out and maintaining the FP&A function of the newly formed department of Nuveen Global Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Work directly with the Senior Director, FP&A of Global Infrastructure to build management and KPI reporting, annual budgeting and ongoing budget vs. actuals analysis, payroll, headcount and compensation cycle planning, monthly business reviews, expense management.
Maintain and update whole-company forecasts, including scenarios and sensitivities under a variety of business and economic conditions.
Manage reporting infrastructure built on multiple large sources of internal and external data.
Partner with Nuveen Global Infrastructure leadership on analyzing, modeling and reporting on product and strategic profitability, initiatives and financial transactions, and draft recommendations based on results.
Review and analyze the impact of external economic conditions on business operations.
Partner with Nuveen shared services functions to provide data, determine budget allocations, maintain intercompany arrangements, and otherwise support corporate integration efforts.
Lead cross‑functional technology projects to enhance management reporting to internal and external stakeholders, partnering with teams across the finance and technology.
Educational Requirements
University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
Career Level 7IC
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of FP&A experience
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of FP&A experience
FP&A or fund finance experience at asset manager or private equity firm/fund
Infrastructure experience
Proficiency in building financial models in excel
