They lead outward-facing fundraising growth, donor development, communications, marketing, and brand visibility.**ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS****Department:**Development**Reports to:**Executive Director**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*** **Strategic Leadership & Fundraising**

+ Lead and manage the development team, providing strategic direction and overseeing performance.

+ Develop and execute a comprehensive annual fundraising strategy in alignment with organizational goals.

+ Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve annual fundraising targets.

+ Oversee and grow the major gifts and planned giving portfolios, including identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major donors.

+ Define, steward, and execute major gifts strategies and develop donor engagement and retention plans.

+ Influence the strategy for annual giving campaigns to maximize donor participation and retention.

+ Oversee direct mail, online giving, and peer-to-peer fundraising efforts.* **Corporate Relations & Sponsorships**

+ Lead corporate relations and manage corporate sponsorship development.

+ Cultivate and manage relationships with community organizations, businesses, and local leaders to build a strong network of support.

+ Manage workplace giving partnerships and matching gift efforts.

+ Maintain sponsor relations, including in-kind giving and educational opportunities coordinated with Information and Family Support (IFS).* **Marketing & Communications**

+ Develop an organization-wide communication strategy for internal and outward-facing communications.

+ Lead marketing and brand recognition strategies to increase the organization's visibility and drive donor engagement.

+ Develop and execute a cross-departmental marketing strategy.

+ Integrate fundraising communications with advocacy and membership communications.

+ Oversee the creation of a communication and event calendar for the organization.

+ Create the Annual Impact Report.* **Events & Community Engagement**

+ Oversee and execute development/fundraising events and cross-departmental events.

+ Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and conferences to enhance visibility and community presence.

+ Foster relationships with board members, volunteers, donors, and stakeholders.

+ Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent messaging and support of the organization's needs.Other duties may be assigned, as needed, to support the needs of the organization.**HOURS/SALARY/BENEFITS**The Development & Marketing Manager is a full-time exempt position with an annual salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 and is eligible for benefits, including: paid personal leave accrual, paid holidays both observed and floating, 401(K) with employer matching, Employer paid: Life insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance in the amount of two times your annual salary up to $150k, Long Term Disability Insurance, Employee Assistance Program.
