Content Creator Intern (Photography & Videography)
Seattle Sustainable Landscapes, Seattle, WA, United States
Seattle Sustainable Landscapes is a fast-growing, sustainability-focused landscaping company serving residential clients throughout the greater Seattle area.
We specialize in:
Maintenance & plant care
We are not your typical landscaping company — nearly all of our customers start online, and we believe visual storytelling is the most powerful way to build trust and showcase our work.
Position Overview We are looking for a Content Creator Intern (Photo & Video) to help us capture and build a consistent stream of high-quality visual content.
This is a hands-on, in-the-field role — you will be visiting job sites, working alongside crews, and documenting real projects as they happen.
This role is ideal for
A current student or recent graduate
Someone excited about storytelling, people, and real-world work environments
No extensive formal experience required — but a portfolio is required.
What You’ll Do
Capture photo and video content on active job sites
Film before, during, and after project transformations
Record behind-the-scenes content of our team and operations
Conduct simple on-site interviews with team members
Capture content for:
Website and marketing materials
Recruiting and employer branding
Organize and upload content for internal use
Collaborate with our marketing team to improve content systems
What We’re Looking For Required
Strong interest in photography, videography, or content creation
A portfolio (school projects, personal work, or freelance — all acceptable)
Comfortable working outdoors and visiting job sites
Strong communication skills (you’ll interact with crews and occasionally clients)
Self-motivated, reliable, and organized
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Preferred (but not required)
Experience shooting video on a phone, DSLR, or mirrorless camera
Basic editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)
Interest in social media, branding, or marketing
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
What You’ll Gain
Real-world experience building a professional content portfolio
Exposure to a fast-growing service business
Hands‑on experience with field-based storytelling
Opportunity to help build a content system from the ground up
Mentorship and potential path to a full-time role
This is an in-person, field-based role (not remote)
Work will take place at residential job sites across the Seattle area
Schedule is flexible but will align with crew working hours
Why Work With Us?
We work for our crews — people come first
Growth and learning matter
Positive energy and teamwork are essential
Great work should be documented and shared
