Hiring immediately (full time, part time, and flexible scheduling). Must be at least 16 years old, except for some locations and aquatic positions (e.g., lifeguard) where the requirement is 15 years.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Interact personally with Great Wolf Lodge guests.
Perform child‑friendly promotional activities on‑site and in the community.
Represent Great Wolf Lodge, its mission, and core values positively on and off site.
Execute all branded experiences consistently according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Lead high‑energy brand events (Storytime, Dance Party, Yoga, Arts and Crafts, Master Magi Ceremony, etc.) throughout the shift.
Lead hands‑on activities such as arts and crafts, bingo, board games, and more.
Manage all aspects of Character Appearances and Entertainment, including:
Perform character appearance duties per Great Wolf Lodge standards; learn signature moves and non‑verbal strategies (characters do not speak).
Guide characters to and from meet‑and‑greet locations; converse casually and appropriately with guests.
Handle character costume operations (care, cleaning, maintenance).
Commit to scheduled opportunities for specific characters (e.g., “Wiley,” “Violet”) at on‑site and off‑site events.
Adapt to interchangeable character and guide duties as needed.
Participate in seasonal event activities throughout the year.
Update programming (dances, crafts, themed events) as required.
Maintain stage presence while on break and entertain families and children through public performance.
Support community appearances (sponsors, charities, tradeshows, media, private functions).
Assist the Entertainment team with inventory of event & activity materials.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment during organization, coordination, and production of branded experiences.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
Comfortable speaking, dancing, and performing in front of large groups multiple times a day.
Some high school education or equivalent.
Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Proven customer service, communication, and ability to read and interpret English manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures.
Successful completion of a criminal background and drug screen.
Desired Qualifications & Traits
Previous experience in entertainment, dance, or theater.
Charismatic, enthusiastic attitude.
Ability to multi‑task and prioritize with minimal direction.
Experience as a character performer and/or working with children.
Proven teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to sit and/or stand for long periods.
Ability to fit and wear character suits; maintain composure, including exposure to heat and humidity for up to 60 minutes.
Ability to dance and perform in hot, humid, and outdoor environments for up to 60 minutes.
