We are seeking a driven
Property Manager
to lead the successful lease-up of a new multifamily community. This role is designed for a high-energy leader who thrives in a fast-paced, build-from-the-ground-up environment and is motivated by aggressive leasing goals, market positioning, and creating operational structure from day one. This is an opportunity to launch a community, build a team, and directly impact the trajectory of a new asset. Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of the lease-up process, including pre-leasing, pricing strategy, and ongoing occupancy acceleration Develop and execute aggressive marketing and outreach strategies to drive traffic and conversions Build, hire, and develop a high-performing onsite team, establishing expectations, processes, and culture from the ground up Analyze market conditions, competitor activity, and leasing trends to adjust strategy in real time Drive leasing velocity through hands-on involvement, coaching, and accountability Manage rent pricing, concessions, and inventory strategy to optimize revenue during lease-up phases Oversee all operational setup, including systems, vendor relationships, and compliance processes Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, and all regulatory requirements Partner with construction and ownership teams to manage unit delivery timelines, punch lists, and readiness Establish resident experience standards and retention strategies as occupancy stabilizes What Success Looks Like
Achievement of lease-up timelines and occupancy milestones Strong traffic-to-lease conversion ratios Effective use of pricing and concessions to maximize revenue A fully built, trained, and high-performing onsite team Smooth transition from lease-up to stabilized operations Strong initial resident satisfaction and retention foundation Requirements
Proven experience in multifamily property management, with
lease-up experience strongly preferred Demonstrated success in driving leasing performance in competitive or evolving markets Strong financial acumen, including pricing strategy, budgeting, and forecasting Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with changing priorities Experience building and developing teams from the ground up Strong understanding of Fair Housing and regulatory compliance Proficiency with RealPage and Microsoft Office (Excel skills strongly preferred) CAM, CPM, or CAPS designations preferred Work Environment
Onsite leadership role with availability during extended leasing hours, including weekends Fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring adaptability and hands-on involvement Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Physical requirements include walking, standing, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs Compensation | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission Structure
Total compensation: $60,000 to $80,000 Performance bonuses tied to leasing milestones and occupancy goals Additional earning potential through commissions and achievement-based incentives About PRAXM
