Job Description Job Title: Intervention Specialist - Mild/Moderate - 1 or more positions Elementary Grades 184 Duty Days - Per Adopted Wage Schedule Position begins August 17, 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year Posting date: April 8, 2026 A review of applications begin on April 15, 2026 and continue until positions are filled
Qualifications Intervention specialist licensure required by the State Board of Education.
Must be capable of effectively working with students with a broad range of social, academic and behavioral skills in resource room and inclusion settings.
Must have knowledge of special education laws and procedural requirements.
Previous experience developing and implementing IEPs preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students and families with the education system required.
Ability to adapt/modify classroom materials to meet a range of needs and provide academic interventions required.
Must have the ability to integrate technology into instruction and intervention.
Position requires the ability to provide a consistent and stable classroom environment for students that depend on routine and working with familiar staff.
