As an Associate Director, Project Management, you'll have 6-8 years of project management experience within an advertising agency or a related field. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build a delivery center of excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion. As an Associate Director, you will oversee project teams, ensure the timely delivery of high‑visibility campaigns, and maintain the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. Responsibilities:

Building a bespoke delivery‑focused center of excellence – ensuring that all project delivery is clean, on time, organized and measured through well‑documented processes and workflows Development of client trust and strong relationships, as well as collaborating with other agency partners Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation and risk management strategies for a fully integrated scope of deliverables (TVC, OLV, social, site, etc) Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including creative, operations, account management, strategy and media, to ensure seamless project execution Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to address them proactively Oversee project budgets, monitor expenses and ensure financial objectives are met Manage Senior, Mid and Junior project managers, providing support and fostering their professional growth Continuously seek opportunities to improve project‑management processes and implement best practices Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and building strong, long‑lasting relationships Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our projects remain innovative and competitive Collaborate in creating budgets for accounts and new‑business opportunities (e.g. Incremental vs. retainer) Monitor financial aspects and assist in vendor payments Freelance approvals on invoices for creative teams Ensure freelancers are extended/requested when needed based on project needs and budget availability Monthly INT Burn documents are updated for each team The monthly procurement document is updated by the delivery date Established relationships with key stakeholders across other teams About You

The Essentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or a related field 6‑8 years of project management experience in an advertising agency or a related environment Proven ability to manage large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders within matrixed organizations Background in fully integrated campaign management and experience across a variety of digital media is required Strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in project‑management software and tools (e.g. Monday.com and/or JIRA strongly preferred) Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure Detail‑oriented with exceptional organisational skills Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment Not a Must, but a Plus:

Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job‑related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
