
Marketing Administrative Assistant

Our client is a well-known higher education institution in NYC. They are seeking a Marketing Administrative Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis.
Who You Are
You have a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or media
Preferred industry experience: higher education, nonprofit, or arts and culture
Highly organized with strong writing and editing skills
Comfortable with digital tools, social media platforms, and content systems
What You’ll Do
Prepare presentations, written content, and campaign materials
Conduct research to support messaging and communications strategies
Assist with vendor coordination, budgets, and administrative processes
Maintain organized systems for digital assets and files
Coordinate logistics for media, events, and content production
Support creation and distribution of print, digital, and multimedia assets
Track timelines and follow up to keep projects moving forward
Draft copy for announcements, media materials, and digital platforms
Monitor media and social channels for coverage and engagement
Provide coordination and support for occasional after-hours events
What Success Looks Like
Projects are delivered on time with strong attention to detail
Materials are clear, consistent, and aligned with brand standards
Teams stay informed and coordinated across initiatives
Events and media activities run smoothly
Pay Rate Range: $32-33 per hour, based on experience
Location: New York, NY – On site
