EIC Intern, Client Services, Multifamily
Cushman & Wakefield’s Multifamily Client Services team is seeking a motivated and analytically minded Intern to support underwriting and client deliverables for multifamily property management assignments. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to real estate financial analysis, market research, and the operational side of institutional‑quality multifamily assets. The intern will play an integral role in underwriting property management opportunities, leveraging internal and third‑party data sources to evaluate market conditions and support financial assumptions. This role offers meaningful collaboration with Business Development and Regional Operations teams and is ideal for a student pursuing a long‑term career in commercial real estate.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with underwriting analysis related to multifamily property management engagements.
Analyze internal and third‑party real estate data to evaluate market conditions, operating benchmarks, and financial trends.
Support development of underwriting assumptions used in financial models and client deliverables.
Build, update, and review Excel‑based financial and analytical models.
Collaborate with Business Development and Regional Operations teams to create comprehensive, client‑facing underwriting packages.
Support ad hoc research, reporting, and analytical projects for the Multifamily Client Services team.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a college or university program (finance, real estate, economics, business, or related field preferred).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
High aptitude for learning new technologies, tools, and data platforms.
Strong analytical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
Ability to work effectively across teams and communicate findings clearly.
Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in real estate following graduation.
Compensation: $20.00 - $21.30 per hour, depending on market, location, and experience. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
