Our Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country location, recently named #1 Campground in the United States, is a 450‑acre camping resort on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, TX, featuring cabins, RV sites, a wedding and events venue, Texas’s only alpine coaster, zipline, swim‑up bars, waterslides, and way too much fun to fit in one sentence.
The
Content Creator
is a fast‑paced role with aggressive content goals and real growth potential. This role covers all aspects of the property: the camping resort, our adventure attractions, and our wedding and events venue. Capturing real moments with real guests, turning everyday resort life into content people want to watch, share, and save. This position reports to the Director of Brand Strategy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, shoot, and edit content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more
Capture guest interactions, reactions, and authentic moments throughout the resort
Create day‑in‑the‑life and behind‑the‑scenes content featuring staff and guests
Produce short‑form video content built around trending sounds, challenges, and formats
Film and edit polished highlight reels for weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings
Shoot adventure content, including alpine coaster POVs, river footage, and zipline rides
Develop photo and video assets for marketing campaigns and promotional materials
Collaborate with the home office team on content calendars and social strategy
Track content performance and use insights to inform future content direction
Travel to in‑state camp resort locations as needed for content capture
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
1–2 years of experience
Proven social media experience with a portfolio or personal accounts that show you know how to create content that performs
Hands‑on videography and photography skills, including experience shooting in outdoor and event settings
Strong video editing chops (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
Comfortable and confident being on camera, whether you're hosting a walkthrough, jumping into a trending format, or engaging with guests in the moment
A natural ability to engage with guests and staff without it feeling forced
Ability to work weekends and holidays (that's when the magic happens)
A feel for what's trending and the ability to move fast when something hits
Drone experience (preferred)
Experience creating content for hospitality, travel, or outdoor recreation brands (preferred)
Motion graphics or animation skills (preferred)
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Remain stationary for long periods, often in warm temperatures
Walk and stand occasionally during shift
Push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs
Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, serve, etc
Ability to look at a computer monitor for extended periods
