About the Role
Support day-to-day center operations and staff leadership
Partner closely with leadership to learn and grow into a Director role
Help maintain compliance and operational consistency
Serve as a key point of contact for families and staff
What You'll Be Doing
Oversee daily operations and support a team of 15-20 staff
Assist with scheduling, staffing, and general administration
Communicate with parents and help navigate day-to-day concerns
Ensure compliance with childcare licensing standards
Support programs tied to quality ratings and nutrition services
Step in where needed to keep operations running smoothly
Build relationships with families and support a strong community environment
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a childcare or early education setting
Experience supporting or leading staff in a center environment
Knowledge of licensing, compliance, and classroom operations
Strong communication skills with both staff and families
Nice to Have
Assistant Director or leadership experience in a childcare center
Background in early childhood education
CDA or Director CertificationExperience working in diverse community environments
