Marketing Coordinator

As a Marketing Coordinator for HFG Trust, your objective is to assist the Marketing Manager in growing the firm’s business and communicating the brand, reputation, and culture of the company to the external public. The position is responsible for supporting marketing initiatives, which include digital advertising, event coordination, copywriting and editing, and social media coordination. This role will also work closely with our Campaign Specialist.

Role Responsibilities Digital Advertising

Maintain social media accounts, including content planning and creation, scheduling, responding to comments and messages, reporting, and engagement monitoring

Assist in developing digital campaigns to generate qualified leads and work closely with Campaign Specialist to foster a healthy prospect pipeline for advisors and trust officers

Event Coordination

Assist in the planning and execution of events, including logistics coordination, vendor communication, and on-site support

Work with external vendors and partners to deliver high-quality events.

Design & Materials

Support light design and video editing projects for marketing campaigns, social media, and internal use

Ensure all marketing materials align with established brand guidelines and voice

Brand Management

Ensure all marketing materials (digital and print) maintain the brand’s high standards and consistency

Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Campaign Specialist to support campaign development and execution

Help track and organize marketing assets, timelines, and project deliverables

Required Education and Experience

College Degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, Journalism, or other related field preferred

1-3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role preferred

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Familiarity with social media platforms and content management tools

Basic experience with design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight

Preferred: Understanding of brand management and content strategy

Preferred: Basic knowledge of copywriting and editing

Job Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Product Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Ability to work under pressure with multiple projects

Strong oral and written communication skills to include emails and correspondence

Strong proofreading, copywriting, and communication skills

Highly organized, disciplined, and self-motivated in their work

Ability to organize projects, priorities, and time management

Ability to effectively present ideas and information to management, advisors, and co-workers.

Work Conditions

Work requires regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule(s) with willingness to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule, and/or extended hours, as needed.

Climate controlled office environment.

Work involves being able to concentrate on the matter at hand, under sometimes distracting work conditions and frequent employee and customer contacts and interruptions during the day.

Physical

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to: sit; use hands in repetitive motions to finger, grasp, handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to: stand; walk; and lift or reach with hands and arms.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include good visual acuity to read print and computer screens.
