Job Description
The Fiscal Specialist Senior in the Controller’s office performs a variety of financial accounting transaction review. This role is responsible for processing all banking related accounting transactions for the Accounts Payable and Payroll bank accounts for all campuses for Maricopa Community Colleges. This role is also responsible for the annual Unclaimed Property reporting to the state of Arizona. Handles various banking items, such as bank supplies, daily bank exception review, deposit correction review, and monthly bank downloads. Responsible for maintaining, verifying, and monitoring accounts, files, documents, and records. Provides Treasury related support and assistance to students and staff. Note: Tentative start date will be dependent upon interviews conducted, onboarding completed, and the state agency issuing a PO. Candidates must be local at time of submission, available for in-person interviews within 1 week of the posting close date, and able to start within 2 weeks of an offer being made.
