$20.00 to $25.00 per hour + $150.00 monthly Auto Allowance + 1 bed/ 1bath Apartment (Employee rent: $1000/month) Schedule:
Full-Time | Non-Exempt
About the Role We’re looking for a proactive, experienced District Property Manager to oversee multiple apartment communities in
the Whittier area . This leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring onsite teams, and takes pride in keeping properties compliant, efficient, and resident-focused. Frequent travel between sites is required. The number of units to oversee is 56.
What You’ll Do
Lead operations across multiple properties, ensuring deadlines and compliance are met.
Oversee deposit accounting and ensure check disbursements meet 21-day legal timelines
Conduct quarterly file audits and property inspections to ensure adherence to company standards
Handle resident relations, ledgers, and notices professionally and promptly
Supervise maintenance coordination and special projects across properties
Perform leasing and pre-leasing duties when assigned
Monitor operating and capital budgets; approve expenditures within budget guidelines
Act as liaison between ownership and company leadership
Serve as interim property manager during vacancies
Supervise and travel around multi-site units.
Requirements
2+ years of apartment or multifamily property management experience
1+ year of leadership or staff supervision experience
Strong knowledge of California property management laws and Fair Housing
Experience
Yardi
software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization, problem-solving, and delegation abilities
Customer Service
Leasing Experience
Reliable transportation for multi-site travel
