About the Role As the Assistant Director of Group Home Supports at Pathfinder, you provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure high-quality, person-centered services across residential programs. Your leadership directly impacts the lives of individuals supported, while also guiding teams to deliver consistent, compliant, and meaningful supports.
Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
Supervise and support Group Home Managers and QIDPs across service areas
Coach, mentor, and develop leaders to strengthen team performance and service quality
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and person-centered thinking
Strategic Planning & Program Development
Partner with division leadership to develop strategies, goals, and action plans
Evaluate program performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Explore expansion of services and innovative approaches to supports
Operations, Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and funding requirements
Oversee development and implementation of policies and procedures
Monitor program quality and ensure consistent, high-standard service delivery
Lead responses to internal and external audits, including corrective action planning
Person-Centered Services & Collaboration
Model and promote person-centered thinking across teams and programs
Maintain strong relationships with individuals supported, families, and stakeholders
Collaborate across departments including HR, Accounting, and IT to support operations
Resource & Financial Oversight
Promote efficient use of staffing, services, and financial resources
Support leaders in understanding and managing budgets and operational needs

Preferred Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of three years of experience in positions with increasing responsibility in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
Proven team management skills and the desire to develop direct reports.
Ability to interpret or learn to interpret financials.
Positive attitude and team player who welcomes collaborative decision making.
Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed.
Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and safe driving record.
Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language.
