Position Overview The Lead HVAC Installer is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality residential and single family installations while leading and developing team members. This role is ideal for experienced installers who take pride in ownership—of their work, their crew, and their future.
Key Responsibilities
Lead residential and single family HVAC installations from start to finish
Train, mentor, and support assistants and apprentices
Read and execute job specifications, blueprints, and mechanical plans
Ensure all work meets code requirements and Platinum quality standards
Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sitesComplete accurate and timely job documentation
Communicate effectively with office staff, project managers, and customers
Operate company vehicles and transport crew members as needed

Clean, efficient, and code-compliant installations
Organized and professional job sites
Team members who grow under your leadership
Minimal callbacks or rework
Consistent execution of Platinum quality standards

Qualifications
5+ years of HVAC installation experience required
Strong knowledge of system layout, ductwork, and mechanical codes
Ability to read and interpret complex plans and drawings
Leadership or mentorship experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work
Platinum promotes from within. High-performing Lead Installers may advance into Senior Lead, Supervisor/Manager, or specialized training roles based on performance and leadership.
