Location: North Andover / Haverhill, MA Pay Range: $65,000-$70,000/year
Overview New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) is seeking a motivated and results-driven Director of Career Services to lead our job placement and career development efforts. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on helping students successfully transition into the workforce. You’ll build strong employer partnerships, guide students through the job search process, and lead a team dedicated to achieving meaningful employment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with employers to secure job opportunities for students and graduates
Provide individualized career coaching, including resume development, applications, and interview preparation
Deliver classroom presentations on job readiness and employment expectations
Track and monitor student progress toward licensure and job placement
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with accrediting standards (ACCSC)
Lead and support Career Services Advisors to meet performance goals
Coordinate hiring events, job fairs, and employer engagement activities
Re-engage unlicensed graduates and partner with training teams on success plans
Support admissions and campus initiatives as needed
Qualifications Required:
2+ years of experience in career services, advising, sales, or a related field
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven ability to meet goals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Experience working with diverse or adult learner populations
Ability to travel locally for employer visits and events
Preferred:
Experience in skilled trades, transportation, or HVAC industries
Existing employer network in logistics or trades
Background in vocational or accredited education environments
Familiarity with job placement strategies and compliance standards
