Supportive Housing Specialist Employment Type:

Part‑time, 20 hours/week

Schedule:

Flexible: 3 days/week Monday‑Friday, 8am‑4pm

About the Position Provide targeted case management services to clients, including establishing rapport, developing treatment plans, counseling, skill teaching, advocacy, and assistance with benefits, budgeting, medical services, employment, and transportation. Coordinate with family and natural supports, homeless service providers, landlords, and agency staff to ensure comprehensive client-centered care.

Responsibilities

Establish rapport with clients and develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Provide counseling, skill instruction, and advocacy.

Assist clients in obtaining and maintaining benefits and navigating housing law.

Maintain documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.

Participate in staff meetings, supervision, training, and other assigned meetings.

Support additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or equivalent education and experience.

At least 2 years of experience working with dually diagnosed individuals (mental illness and substance abuse).

Valid driver’s license. CPR/First‑Aid certification within 6 months of hire desired.

Compensation $19.28/hr minimum, commensurate with experience.
