Position Overview Assistant Director of Racquet Sports sought by Quechee Lakes Landowners Association and Subsidiaries, located in Quechee, VT.

Job Description

Teach individual, group, and camp lessons in Tennis, Pickleball, POP and Platform Tennis.

Organize and plan Jr. Camp daily/weekly/seasonal activities, including hiring of coaches.

Support staff of Professionals in various capacities from assisting in clinics to organizing lesson plans.

Run Round Robin Groups for Tennis, Pickleball, POP and Platform Tennis.

Organize Adult Team from practices to court and match preparation and hosting.

Volunteer to fill in for member/round robin groups who need a player.

Work with a range of players, including elite training for junior players on shot production, strategy, and fitness.

Organize and run multi-site, multiple-day tournaments.

Act as a club ambassador for POP and Platform Tennis.

Daily maintenance and preparation of Har-Tru Tennis Courts.

Develop logo designs and order several lines of apparel for various racquet sports and events.

Handle inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking.

Hire, train, mentor, and support staff.

Schedule coaching staff.

Provide structure and planning for clinics, including Jr. Camps and Jr. Team programming such as scheduling and coordinating home and away matches.

Use back‑office systems to provide programming that is available for membership registration, coordinating and scheduling with the Director.

Assist in the development and growth of retail aspects of the Racquet Program.

Maintain group and individual lessons in all racquet disciplines offered by the club, including adults and juniors.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Professional Tennis Management or a closely related field.

USPTA / RSPA Certified (Tennis).

MRT Certification (Master Racquet Technician).

PPR Certified (Pickleball).
