Position Overview
The Digital Producer - Social and YouTube Content is a full-time position that will oversee the production of social media and YouTube videos for PBS KIDS—to foster awareness of our brand content and intergenerational learning opportunities; manage projects from inception to final delivery; and coordinate with project directors to ensure workflow, documentation and design standards are upheld. Developing and producing video content for PBS KIDS social media and YouTube platforms Writing project outlines and scripts Developing project schedules Filming, recording audio, and editing videos Research and staying up-to-date on the latest trends in social media, specifically in the parent and children's media landscape Requirements For Success
Minimum 3 years of professional video creation experience (production and/or post-production) in television, web, and/or social media Undergraduate degree in Film, Broadcasting, Theater, Art, Design, or equivalent experience in television with industry certifications Comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition) Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to adapt to an ever-changing and dynamic creative environment Comfortable working both behind and in front of the camera for social media video content is a plus Ability to prioritize, multitask, and hit all deadlines Submit a portfolio of relevant work demonstrating your skills and experience.
