A reputable insurance agency is seeking a
Benefits Account Manager
to take the lead on client accounts and support the delivery of employee benefits programs from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, handling renewals, and being a go-to resource on benefits-related questions.
Prior experience in employee benefits is preferred.
The Job:
Manage client accounts end-to-end, including all open enrollment requirements and presentations
Serve as an employee benefits subject matter expert, providing product and service information
Lead the full-cycle renewal process, including preparing proposals and conducting market research
Provide superior customer service by answering coverage questions and assisting with claims issues
Collaborate closely with production teams and cross-functional partners to drive business outcomes
Reconcile commission discrepancies in partnership with accounting and communicate with insurance carriers
Document all renewal and client activity within agency management systems
Participate in networking events, seminars, and continuing education opportunities
