Aspire Senior Living Moberly seeks a talented and experienced Account Payable/Payroll Specialist to join our team.
Account Payable/Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable, including processing and tracking invoices, payments, and credits
Prepare and process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts payable, and payroll liabilities
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transactions and financial activities
Collaborate with other departments to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues
Perform month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries and financial statement preparation
Analyze and reconcile financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
Account Payable/Payroll Specialist Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field in a healthcare setting.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in excel, accounting software and payroll processing systems (i.e. Paycor)
