Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Publications Specialist, located in Wichita, KS. The Technical Publications Specialist will be responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining technical documents, such as user manuals, training guides, and operational procedures. Other responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy, adhering to project timelines, and ensuring compliance with industry documentation standards.
Qualifications
Technical writing and document creation, including user manuals, training guides, and other reference materials
Proficiency with tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word, XML authoring tools, or other documentation software
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers and subject matter experts
Attention to detail, proofreading, and editing experience to ensure content clarity and accuracy
Knowledge of industry standards for technical documentation
Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
