
Corporate Paralegal

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law and experience handling legal matters related to the construction industry. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support to our legal team, assisting with contract administration, compliance, dispute resolution, and litigation management.
Responsibilities
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts, including but not limited to, contractor agreements, subcontractor agreements, and supplier contracts. Conduct legal research and analysis on construction law, regulations, and best practices. Support the legal team in managing disputes, claims, and litigation related to construction projects. Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to construction projects and operations. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and documents relevant to legal matters. Maintain organized files and documentation for all legal matters, including contracts, correspondence, and legal memos. Assist in the preparation of legal presentations, reports, and summaries for internal use. Qualifications
Associate's degree or certificate in paralegal studies from an accredited institution. Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in the construction industry or a related field. Strong understanding of construction law, contracts, and dispute resolution processes. Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
