Job Description:

The Order Entry Specialist will provide essential support by managing inbound and outbound orders using our WMS and SAP systems. This role involves keeping customers updated on shipments through a daily On-Dock Report, scheduling inbound shipments, and performing various related tasks. The specialist will work on a specific customer account and communicate with clients via email and phone to process orders.

Responsibilities

Post inbound and outbound orders in the WMS and SAP systems.

Update customers on shipments through the daily On-Dock Report.

Schedule inbound shipments and perform related tasks.

Communicate with clients via email and phone for order processing.

Answer phones, check in drivers, and process all orders in the WMS system.

Collaborate with a team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to process orders and manage inventory.

Maintain organized files and records of all schedules, BOLs, and other paperwork.

Respond to calls from customers, handling approximately 30 calls/emails per day.

Enter order information into the system and provide the warehouse with client orders.

Essential Skills

Order processing and order entry experience, preferably in an industrial/3PL setting.

SAP experience required; Oracle or AS400 experience is also considered.

Experience with WMS systems and practices; TMS experience required.

Customer orientation with the ability to adapt and respond to different character types.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proven customer support experience.

High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.

Computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.

Work Environment:

This position operates within an office setting located in an industrial/3PL environment. The role involves direct interaction with clients and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.

Job Type & Location:

Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay And Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
