Bilingual English/Spanish Customer Service Representative - Transdev, Oakland, CA
Transdev is hiring a Bilingual English/Spanish Customer Service Representative to act as a liaison for our customers, providers, and clients. We are seeking friendly, customer‑service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries and concerns with timely and accurate information or redirect to a supervisor.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company policies and procedures.
Meet or exceed established performance requirements.
Document trip authorizations and details including transportation type, pickup times, appointment times, and addresses.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Computer literate.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to operate a standard telephone system.
Subject to a DOT drug test and, if applicable, a physical. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not permit the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements
Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity—100% of the job is performed outside, often alone and in remote locations.
Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on possible sloped, slippery, or uneven surfaces.
Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally during the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lb. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing job duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
Benefits (Non‑CBA Position)
Competitive compensation: minimum $21.50/hr – maximum $30.09/hr.
Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks.
Paid time off: up to 4 days.
Sick days: up to 8 days.
Holidays: 11 holidays.
Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, voluntary long‑term disability.
