CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive strategic development plan that integrates marketing and fundraising initiatives to increase revenue and organizational growth.
Design and execute strategies for donor relations, including new donor outreach and current donor cultivation, to improve donor engagement and retention.
Manage and grow financial results from all fundraising campaigns, events, appeals, and foundation grants; provide assistance as needed for operational grants.
Monitor, record, and manage the staff process for identifying, negotiating, and procuring in‑kind contributions and trades.
Maintain accurate and complete donor records; analyze donor response data and prospect tracking; ensure timely and accurate gift acknowledgements.
Represent the organization at meetings and events with funders, clients, and the community at‑large to increase and strengthen partnerships and enhance the organization’s brand awareness.
Qualifications
Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, and development strategy implementation.
Strong skills in marketing and fundraising strategy development and execution.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively represent the organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously with attention to detail.
Proficiency in donor database management and data analysis.
