Luke AFB, Arizona
Pay Range:
$34.00 – $48.00 per hour
We are actively seeking experienced
F-16 Crew Chiefs
to join a high-performing maintenance team supporting mission-critical aircraft operations at Luke AFB, AZ. If you have a strong fighter aircraft maintenance background and thrive in fast-paced environments, this is a great opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily flight line operations and maintenance on F-16 aircraft
Serve as
Crew Chief
responsible for overall aircraft condition and readiness
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical systems
Support structural repairs and organizational-level maintenance
Conduct inspections, servicing, and assist with periodic maintenance
Ensure strict adherence to
FOD (Foreign Object Damage) control
procedures
Execute line maintenance, servicing, and aircraft dispatch readiness tasks
Required Qualifications
USAF 5-Level (or equivalent) with documented experience
Proven experience as an
F-16 Crew Chief and/or Maintenance Technician
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with ground handling, servicing, and maintenance setupAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate’s Degree preferred (Bachelor’s is a plus)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working outdoors and around aircraft systems
Must be able to obtain security clearance
Domestic & international travel may be required
