Social Media Videographer - Part-Time, Sports Academy - $37,500/year USD
Crossover, San Antonio, TX, United States
Authentic content doesn't originate from scheduled planning. It originates from being present when it happens. Texas Sports Academy operates an intensive academic program combined with high-level athletic training. Student‑athletes attend classes, train on the field, and work out in the gym every weekday — all moments worth documenting. Your role is to be there, identify what matters, film it, edit, and publish. No production studio. No layers of approval. No creative documentation. Spend four to five hours on campus each weekday, then your workday concludes.
We are filling four positions — one for each of the following cities: Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. From the first day, you will manage social media content for your assigned campus, with follower growth and engagement serving as the primary metrics for your performance. This is a part‑time position: 20–25 hours weekly at $30 per hour, on‑site during weekdays. What you create is measurable, traceable, and entirely your own.
What You Will Be Doing
Arriving on campus for 4–5 hours every weekday to document authentic student‑athlete moments using your mobile device
Editing and publishing to TikTok and Instagram Reels on the same day — native to each platform, efficient, and without requiring external approval
Analyzing performance metrics weekly (views, engagement, follower counts) to determine what content succeeds and the reasons behind it
Refining hooks, video formats, and content direction based on data insights rather than solely on intuition
Sustaining a steady daily posting rhythm with no interruptions
What You Won’t Be Doing
Following a content calendar created by others — you determine what to film and when to post
Creating highly polished content requiring multiple days of production
Seeking creative approval prior to publishing
Working from a desk; this position requires being on location, camera ready, every weekday
Social Media Videographer Key Responsibilities Develop a rapidly expanding TikTok and Instagram Reels presence for Texas Sports Academy by filming and publishing engaging campus content each weekday.

Documented TikTok and/or Instagram Reels activity with a history of consistent short‑form video uploads
Located in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, or Houston, TX; this position requires on‑site presence during weekdays
Able to commit 4–5 hours for on‑campus filming each weekday, Monday through Friday
Nice‑to‑have Requirements
Experience in athletics, youth sports, or educational settings — at ease working directly among student‑athletes
Proven instinct for trend timing — has successfully adapted popular formats to a particular subject, audience, or niche
History of measurable follower growth connected to a consistent posting approach you can explain in detail
