Sports Content Creator - Part-Time, Sports Academy - $37,500/year USD
Crossover, San Antonio, TX, United States
The most effective content doesn't originate from scheduled planning. It originates from someone who was present.
Texas Sports Academy operates an accelerated academic program combined with elite athletic training. Student-athletes attend class, train on the field, and work out in the gym every weekday — moments worth documenting. Your responsibility is to be present, identify the opportunity, film it, edit, and publish. No production studio. No approval process. No creative directive. Four to five hours on‑site each weekday, then your day concludes.
We are recruiting four individuals — one for each location in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. You will manage social media content for your assigned campus from the start, with follower acquisition and engagement serving as the primary metrics for your performance. This is part‑time employment: 20–25 hours weekly at $30/hr, on‑site during weekdays. The content you produce is measurable, credited to you, and represents your work.
What You Will Be Doing
Being on campus 4–5 hours every weekday to document spontaneous student‑athlete moments using your mobile device
Editing and publishing to TikTok and Instagram Reels on the same day — optimized for each platform, immediate, and independent of approval processes
Analyzing performance metrics weekly (views, engagement, followers) to determine what content succeeds and the reasons behind it
Modifying hooks, formats, and content direction according to data insights, not solely intuition
Sustaining a reliable daily publishing rhythm without interruptions
What You Won’t Be Doing
Following a content schedule created by others — you determine what gets filmed and published
Creating refined content requiring multi‑day production cycles
Awaiting creative clearance before publishing
Working from a desk; this position requires field presence, mobile device ready, every weekday
Sports Content Creator Key Responsibilities Develop a rapidly expanding TikTok and Instagram Reels presence for Texas Sports Academy through capturing and publishing engaging on‑campus content each weekday.

Located in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, or Houston, TX; this position requires weekday on‑site presence
Available for 4–5 hours of on‑campus content production each weekday, Monday through Friday
Nice‑to‑have Requirements
Experience in athletics, youth sports, or educational settings — able to work comfortably on the ground with student‑athletes
Proven ability to recognize trend timing — has modified trending formats for a particular subject, community, or niche
