Content Creator - Part-Time, Sports Academy - $37,500/year USD
Crossover, Austin, TX, United States
Great content isn't scheduled—it's captured in the moment by someone who was actually there. At Texas Sports Academy operates an accelerated academic program integrated with elite athletic training. Student‑athletes are in classrooms, on fields, and in training facilities every weekday—moments that deserve to be documented. Your responsibility is to be present, identify those moments, film them, edit quickly, and publish. No studio setup. No multi‑level approvals. No formal briefs. You'll spend four to five hours on campus each weekday, then your day is complete.
We are filling four positions—one for each of our campuses in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. From day one you will manage social content for your assigned campus, with follower growth and engagement serving as the primary metrics for your performance. This is a part‑time position: 20–25 hours weekly at $30/hour, on‑site during weekdays. The content you create is visible, measurable, and directly attributed to you.
What You Will Be Doing
Being physically present on campus for 4–5 hours each weekday to film spontaneous student‑athlete moments using your mobile device
Editing footage and publishing to TikTok and Instagram Reels on the same day—platform‑optimized, rapid, and independent of approval workflows
Analyzing performance metrics weekly (views, engagement, follower counts) to understand what content resonates and why
Refining hooks, video formats, and content themes according to data insights, not solely on intuition
Sustaining a regular daily posting rhythm without interruptions
What You Won’t Be Doing
Following a pre‑planned content calendar created by others—you determine what to film and publish
Creating highly produced content that requires multi‑day production cycles
Seeking creative approval before you post
Working from a desk; this role requires you to be mobile, on‑site, and active every weekday
