Part-Time Music Director at Sardis Baptist Church
It's an exciting time here at Sardis! Founded in 1803 Sardis stands as the oldest church in our area. A long history of faith is felt within our walls and a bright future is being built. Our Pastor has been here 9 months, and part of our revitalization is our Music Ministry.
We are prayerfully seeking a Music Director with a heart for ministry and a passion for leading God’s people in Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship.
About The Position
Loves Jesus and desires to lead others in genuine, biblical worship
Can lead vocally
Works well with volunteers and enjoys developing a team
Embraces a blended worship style (hymns + modern worship)
Has a teachable spirit and a love for the local church
Eager to embrace the opportunity to build a new ministry in a church ready for it.
Responsibilities
Lead worship on Sunday mornings (11am Service)
Coordinate with the Pastor for weekly services
Lead rehearsals/practices weekly and help build/organize the worship team
Assist in planning special services and events

Part-time position
Experience is preferred but not required
