Job Summary The Graphic Designer I creates design projects for print and digital, ensuring adherence to the university's visual identity and branding.
Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Production (75%): Prepare design projects for print and digital, applying brand guidelines, updating files, maintaining organized files, and operating on-site print equipment.
Client Services & Collaboration (20%): Meet with clients, discuss specifications, suggest solutions, and work with Designer II.
Other Duties (5%): Perform miscellaneous tasks such as equipment operation and material delivery.
Required Qualifications
Educational: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Mass Communication, or similar.
Skills: Adobe Creative Suite proficiency; one year related experience in design or print.
Portfolio: Required.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional customer service, clerical or support experience.
Experience with printing operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Abilities
Lift up to 40-50 lbs.
Follow instructions, prioritize workload.
Versatility and troubleshooting.
Originality in creative ideas.
Written comprehension.
Knowledge
