The District Leader role is the premiere leadership role in the beauty industry and is essential to the success of our business. This role leads with emphasis on representing our culture and values, talent retention, and quality resident and community partnership experience. The District Leader role is inclusive of, and not limited to, growth toward and momentum within staffing, increasing client count, revenue, and business development. Within our broadly defined parameters, a District Leader has the autonomy, authority, and responsibility to inspire outstanding business results by supporting our Salon Professionals as the leader of their salon performance development strategy.
Required Experience
Progressively responsible in retail (2-3 years)
Managing teams through leadership and coaching (3-5 years)
Multi-unit and retail management experience required (3-5 years)
Salon management experience is preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to manage the overall operations of multiple salons independently.
Ability to provide functional expertise and execute functional responsibilities.
Ability to set goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and model teamwork.
Ability to provide employees with coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities and build effective teams.
Ability to utilize and demonstrate effective leadership principles and practices to create an environment where employees are valued and respected.
Ability to lead by example and follow sales process to fully execute each step and ensure extraordinary customer experiences.
Knowledge of retail industry operations
Strong communication skills-written and verbal
Organization and planning skills in a customer service and sales focused environment.
Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment
Leadership skills and team building skills.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel weekly.
Compensation
Salary $60-$80K
Full-time benefit eligible (Medical/Vision/Dental/Critical/Accident and illness)
