Director of School Operations (DSO)
Location : Partnership Schools Toledo (Rosary Cathedral School & Queen of Apostles School)
Salary Range : $50,000-$70,000
Schedule : Full-time, 12-month position
Reports to : Regional Director of School Operations

About The Role The Director of School Operations (DSO) is a key regional network leadership team member. The DSO ensures that all non-instructional aspects of the school run smoothly, allowing principals to focus fully on teaching and learning. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, results-driven, and committed to our mission.
Key Responsibilities Finance & Compliance Ensure Catholic education is financially attainable for all families.
Process and track Accounts Payable/Receivable
Reconcile AMEX statements
Manage ODE attendance reporting
Track scholarship checks and reconcile with ODE portal
Manage school flex budget using Intacct
Human Resources
Ensure successful onboarding and retention of all school staff.
Manage onboarding using Network checklist and coordinate staff benefits and pensions with central team.
Host regular check-ins and professional development for the Ops team.
Track time off and credentialing via Paycor and network systems.
Lead school-based operations performance framework.
Academic Leadership Support Enable instructional leaders to focus on learning and culture.
Maintain SIS (student information system) alignment with enrollment data.
Lead absenteeism reduction efforts.
Coordinate rostering and scheduling of NWEA MAP assessments.
Manage enrichment (Title IV) and before/after-school programs.
Co-develop staff coverage plans with the Principal.
Enrollment Management Maximize student enrollment and strengthen retention.
Lead and monitor new and returning daily student enrollment pipeline and campaign with Operations team.
Implement Network Best Practices for enrollment and retention.
Plan and execute community and recruitment events.
Build relationships with community partners to support enrollment growth.
Facilities Management Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment.
Manage building and technology tickets to resolution.
Oversee contracted cleaning services.
Conduct monthly facilities walkthrough with Network Operations Team.
Coordinate safety drills and complete EMT reports with Principal.
Co-author and maintain Emergency Operations Plan.
Data Compliance Support academic and operational success through accurate data.
Complete all required Diocese, State, and Network reports.
Track student attendance and enrollment accurately.
Support documentation collection and audit readiness.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of work experience; education operations preferred.
Bachelor's degree required; post-graduate degree preferred.
Passion for Catholic education and urban school transformation.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and operational systems.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong customer service orientation.
Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is $50,000-$70,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits for full-time employees include health coverage, paid vacation and personal days, paid school holidays, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
