Job Description As the lines between publicity and marketing continue to blur and discoverability continues to morph, Saga Press is seeking a Publicity & Influencer Outreach Assistant. This is a cutting‑edge position that will work with all of Saga’s Marketing and Publicity Department to help build bridges between legacy media and digital creator ecosystems across platforms. We want to meet our readership where they are, and we want to expand our presence through strategic partnerships with influencers and content creators, helping to amplify our titles, drive discovery, and connect our books with highly engaged audiences.

Responsibilities

Assist in supporting 3-4 front list titles per season, particularly those titles that are ongoing series and/or reissues

Assist in identifying new influencer partners, pitching to curated creator lists, coordinating influencer campaigns and virtual tours, and supporting Saga Says Crew offers and fulfillment, influencer activations and events, influencer box mailings, and collaborative social and brand partnerships

Admin tasks including mailings support, awards submissions, AMEX charges, maintaining and updating influencer and media contacts database, and tracking outreach and campaign activity

Qualifications

Must be extremely passionate about genre, particularly fantasy, science fiction, and horror, and has familiarity with Canva, Excel, Airtable, Sprout, and Mailchimp

Familiarity with social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, and others; highly preferred

The ideal candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an interest in influencer marketing and digital media, embraces innovation, is meticulous with details, and possesses the ability to prioritize multiple campaigns and stay highly organized in a creative, rapidly expanding environment.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
