Bear Creek Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director with a strong background in skilled nursing facility (SNF) operations and Life Safety compliance.
This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring the building is fully compliant, safe, and survey-ready at all times. We are looking for someone who understands the complex regulatory environment of a healthcare facility, not general maintenance or residential work.

What You’ll Do Facility Operations & Maintenance
Oversee all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and equipment
Ensure the facility is maintained in a safe, clean, and fully operational condition
Manage preventative maintenance programs and work orders
Life Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Maintain and manage the Life Safety Code (LSC) binder
Ensure ongoing compliance with state, federal, and Life Safety regulations (CMS, AHCA)
Prepare for and lead Life Safety surveys and inspections
Conduct routine audits and correct deficiencies proactively
Emergency Preparedness & Safety
Oversee fire safety systems, drills, and emergency preparedness plans
Ensure compliance with all fire, safety, and disaster readiness requirements
Leadership & Oversight
Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate vendors/contractors
Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and inventory
Partner with leadership to support overall facility operations
Qualifications (Required For Consideration)
Proven experience as a Maintenance Director (or similar role) in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code (LSC) regulations and survey process (required)
Experience managing Life Safety compliance, inspections, and regulatory readiness
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
