We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Technical Service Representative. This is a call center-type position and will work out of a cubicle.

Role And Responsibilities

Works with customers and internal management team to resolve daily technical issues

Verifies accuracy of information in shop floor system, indicating issue(s) with unit

Receives and stores units which have been put on hold

Takes pictures of units and uploads through customer website

Reads and responds to emails from customer, client and internal personnel

Communicates by phone and email to customer for resolution of holds

Obtains customer’s resolution and communicates desired actions with repair line

Interacts daily with operations and materials groups

Communicates with company management and customer contacts through written communication (email and messaging)

Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department

May assist in verifying and receiving approval for charges to customers

May work with customer/business partner to locate units and inform them of repair status

May assist with customer escalations and works to resolve issues to complete repair process

May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training And Skills

High school diploma or equivalent required

Associates degree in a related field, preferred

1 year or more customer service skills in a related field, preferred

Experience in electronics repair or manufacturing environment, preferred

Proficient English abilities required

Must be able to perform multiple duties and complete assigned duties with deadlines

Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge

Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies

Excellent time-management skills

Familiarity with continuous improvement methods, preferred

Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision

Working Conditions And Essential Abilities & Functions

Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)

Occasional standing, crouching and stooping

Frequent walking, sitting, reaching and twisting

Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 20 lbs.

Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
