
Junior Estimator / Construction Drafter

We’re partnering with a growing construction company in the multi-family sector that is looking to add an Estimator / Drafter to their team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to gain hands‑on experience in both estimating and drafting while working on ground‑up projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assist with quantity takeoffs for new construction projects and help maintain accuracy throughout the bidding process
Support the development of shop drawings and project layouts for awarded work
Review construction drawings and specifications to understand project scope and identify changes
Help obtain and organize material pricing from vendors and suppliers
Prepare and maintain reports and documentation to support the estimating team
Coordinate with project managers and internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from preconstruction to operations
Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to continue building your technical skills
What We’re Looking For:
1–2 years of experience in construction, estimating, drafting, or a related field
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with measurements and calculations
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or similar software is a plus
Background in architecture, construction management, or a related discipline is preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
