We are seeking an Electrical Designer to work for an established Manufacturer in the East Syracuse, NY area.
This role blends electrical design, project feasibility review, and technical collaboration with technicians and engineers to bring control systems from concept through production.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on electrical design and working closely with manufacturing and service teams to deliver real‑world systems.

Duties & Responsibilities
Perform pre‑engineering reviews to evaluate project feasibility and system requirements.
Develop cost estimates and scopes of work for control system projects.
Design industrial control systems ranging from relay‑based panels to multi‑cabinet PLC control and monitoring systems.
Create electrical drawings and system documentation based on project design inputs.
Develop customer submittal packages including drawings and component specifications.
Support technicians during system build and production with control methodology guidance.
Education & Experience
Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and 2–4+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with industrial control systems or electrical design.
Knowledge of control panels, power distribution, and PLC‑based systems.
Ability to read engineering drawings and project specifications.
