
Graphic Designer – Student Assistant - USFSP

Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Student Graphic Designer is to help design communication and promotional materials for Housing & Residential Education (HRE). This position is for students attending the USF St. Petersburg campus but will be supervised virtually by the HRE Graphic Design Coordinator from the Tampa campus. It is an in‑person position. The computer and office space at the St. Petersburg campus will be provided.
Compensation $16.00/hr
Responsibilities
Design and update assets for web, email, social media, digital screens, and print materials for our in‑house design service.
Assist with development of campaigns and on‑campus campus events.
Maintain brand consistency across all assigned projects and templates.
Organize design files, templates, and asset libraries, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and quality control across all deliverables.
Collaborate with supervisor to implement feedback on designs.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled USFSP student in good academic standing.
Basic knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
Ability to work 15–20 hours per week during the year.
Available to work throughout the summer of 2026.
