Summary As a Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our company by preparing accurate construction estimates, budgets, and bids for a variety of commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Estimate construction costs for a range of commercial projects
Maintain and update a comprehensive cost database
Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to compute project costs
Prepare detailed reports and bids for submission to clients and stakeholders
Develop thorough proposals with clear information and cost breakdowns
Manage multiple estimation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
Provide efficient and helpful responses to customer inquiries throughout the bidding process
Collaborate with Senior Estimators to review project specifications and drawings
Requirements
Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings and specifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Excel, On Screen Takeoff, and Estimating Software (e.g., Plan Swift)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating
A degree in Construction Management or Engineering is advantageous
Adaptability to work both in-office and in the field within a fast-paced environment
