Distribution Associate AM $20 hourly

Responsibilities
Unload case goods, bedding and/or upholstered furniture using a two wheel hand cart and second person assistance when needed.
Palletize product and box product when necessary.
Operate mobile lift equipment to bin product, place incoming product into the warehouse racks.
Based on assigned load sheet, retrieve product from aisle racks after cleared by scanner, and load trailer.
Pick‑up breakage, miscellaneous wood, plastic and maintain housekeeping standards.
Check for damaged product and do not load any damaged product for shipment to customer.
Interact and respond professionally to co‑workers requests.
Meet established product rates and accuracy standards.
Have excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.
Qualifications
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work well with others and function in a team environment.
Safely operate all required equipment.
Must have sufficient strength in the trunk and extremities to perform tasks in multiple positions from the floor to overhead while material handling.
Ability to work in awkward postures when performing all aspects of the job.
Ability to reach, extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction while material handling.
Ability to seize, hold and grasp items typical of this job throughout the work period.
Ability to pinch and work primarily with the fingers throughout the workday.
Demonstrate sufficient capacity to lift, carry and push‑pull.
Maintain excellent balance to keep equilibrium in all positions.
Meet the minimal physical demands consistent with a classification of Very‑HEAVY as per U.S. Department of Labor.
Work exposed to slip and trip hazards such as pallets on the floor, wet weather, cold/hot temperatures on the loading dock and outdoor yard; cold exposure from unheated trailers.
Safety Equipment PPE Required: Steel toe shoes and fall protection harness.
