
Outside Sales Professional

Job Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to sell residential pest management services and products to new and existing customers, while maintaining a customer‑focused service to grow the business. The consultant will serve as the face of the brand, protecting homes and families.
Responsibilities
Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and entries; based on findings, sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance.
Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians to identify opportunities.
Partner with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams with current base customers and develop proposals for resolution and enhancements.
Complete home diagrams using the sales CRM to clarify potential challenges.
Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
Provide expert support during installations to ensure satisfactory completion.
Record daily activities and sales performance in the company CRM.
Essential Job Functions
Lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11–20 lbs. frequently.
Move around a lot—sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and maintaining balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
Deal with various pests and work in confined spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, attics.
Operate a motor vehicle safely and keep the vehicle and equipment clean.
Wear PPE such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator and work regularly in confined spaces.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
Strong social, customer service, and communication skills; related sales or training experience preferred.
Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory.
