
Business Development Representative - P&C Insurance

Futuristic Underwriters has been launched to deliver innovative P&C insurance products to the marketplace using futuristic approaches including:
Distribution technology – modern, efficient rate/quote/bind platform for a superior customer experience
Underwriting insights – leverage new data sources and advanced analytics to drive industry leading underwriting results
Proactive claims handling – efficiently settle claims with prompt and proactive approaches
Risk reduction – use innovation to help insureds lower their risk profile and ultimately loss experience
We are looking for top talent to join us to help build out our broker base as we launch our innovative programs into the commercial insurance space.

The Position This position will make prospecting telephone sales calls to insurance brokers with the goal of:
Delivering a brief overview of Futuristic Underwriters’ products and approach to writing business
Directing brokers to our website to register their company
Scheduling follow up calls for Futuristics’ Regional Sales Managers
Scheduling in-person appointments for Futuristics’ Regional Sales Managers
Sharing information about our firm with brokers
The position is based in our Westlake TX office.
Requirements
Minimum 1+ years of experience handling personal or commercial lines of business (e.g., General Liability, Property, Business Auto, Excess Liability, Inland Marine, Trucking, etc.)
Comfortable managing a high-volume workload with accuracy
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong customer service mindset
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing tasks
Ability to embrace new systems, workflows, and procedural updates with flexibility and a growth mindset.
