Overview
The Associate Sales Engineer provides administrative and operational assistance to the engineering sales team. Ensuring the success of various manufacturing phases within a project and capturing necessary information for continuous improvement. This role focuses on being a vital point of contact for communicating information between production and engineering, maintaining project folder cleanliness and document management, and supporting the proposal and submittal processes. Responsibilities
Assist the Sales Engineers in planning, organizing, and executing projects Serve as a key point of contact for the production team to relay crucial information back to the engineering department Review project drawings to verify completeness, accuracy, and inclusion of all required information Assist in preparing proposals and submittal packages under guidance from sales engineers Obtain lessons learned from each supporting party to support continuous improvement efforts Assist with reviewing job files for completeness, including BOMs, drawings, and vendor specs Assist engineers in implementing design changes or upgrades on the production floor Collect and analyze production data to identify inefficiencies or defects Requirements
Associate or bachelor’s degree in progress in Engineering or STEM related field. 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing or construction Strong technical background and analytical ability Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Willingness to learn enclosure manufacturing, sales processes, and customer industries
