ABOUT THE ROLE: The

Human Resources Director

is responsible for planning, coordinating, and administering the human resources activities for the community including recruitment & selection, training and development, employee engagement and development, and HR compliance.

YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL…

Lead recruitment initiatives to ensure we have the right team members on board.

Enhance the employee experience from recruitment, through onboarding and beyond; while ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws.

Handle employee relations matters, including addressing concerns, facilitating resolutions, and ensuring consistent application of policies and practices.

Guide employees and managers through coaching and development conversations to support performance improvement, growth, and engagement.

Champion employee engagement and drive a high performing engaged culture across campus, by partnering with department directors and team members to enhance the employee experience.

Conduct compensation studies to ensure internal and external pay equity; keeping abreast of trends and conditions in the business community.

Assist in the preparation of all job descriptions.

Assist in the development and coordination of Personnel Policy and Procedures Manual reviewing all items for consistency of style and content.

WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU…

Possess an Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (preferred).

A minimum of three to five years' experience in a human resource department.

Possess the ability to use Microsoft Office software effectively and have had some experience utilizing an applicant tracking system for posting open positions online.

Possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively with staff and managers.

Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.

Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.

Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Salary: $78k - 80k (depending on experience).

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends.
